  1. Kung fu kid copies karate kid. Although karate originally originated from China Kung fu in the early centuries.

  2. I am sorry but this movie “remake” was horribly executed. I know we compare it to the original and we should but first Jaden and those bullies look about 8 years old and having them be teenagers was much more appealing. Jackie doesn’t have the same charm as Pat; Jaden only got the part because his whole family produced it, it’s not Karate 🥋, and if it was Kung Fu then they should have titled it The Kung Fu Kid. It’s like remaking Rocky and Rocky is a wrestling 🤼‍♂️. There is no element of suspense and surprise because we know the ending. I like the actors but in this version they were wrong and the movie didn’t need a remake. Sorry thumbs down 👎🏻.

  3. Very powerful symbolism. As a corporate trainer, I live this moment every day. People don't really the smallest lessons are the foundation of learning.

  4. This scene is so powerful. Without him knowing the students reality is being torn down and the actual reality of the world is being shown to him. He is learning martial arts yes but he is also learning the spiritual nature of the world instead of just the physical. When you begin to care about everything you do and are you build drive. And with drive comes focus. Quite a huge aspect that is being taught in such a short amount of time without any words spoken.

Being taught how to be before you can do.

  6. Wait
Kung fu and karate is two different things
The kid is learning Kung fu
But the film name is karate kid
i have been living a lie

  7. I have been in the martial arts as an instructor for over 35 years… there is Value in every technique, Movement whatever discipline you learn from, even if its just one block, you might not understand that now but you will as you learn..Just remember whatever technique you learn from you have to make it your own to work for you…

  8. This scene totally misses the point of the original scene. While it wants to come off as philosophical and educational, it actually focusses on the action scenes only, there are no emotions left, nothing. In the original movie, Daniel thought Mr. Miyagi was using him to get his stuff done and house cleaned, that's why he was angry at him, not knowing he was actually learning something. In this movie he put jacket on and off for no good reason? Wtf? lol Myagi and Daniel had a father son relationship and he was teaching him about life in general and "mocking" him for what he thought he knew.

  9. Mychonny: Jack-it on

    Student: takes jacket on

    Mychonny: Jack-it off

    Student: takes jacket off

Mychonny: Dafuq are u doin I meant with your p***s (misspelled on purpose)
