Tonia Smerdon is working to give the next
generation of Queenslanders the best access to high-quality education. For the past 12 years, Tonia has been principal of Normanton State School in remote North Queensland. As a passionate advocate for interagency support, she coordinates with families to ensure students’ conditions are right for learning. Tonia’s vision for high-quality education
