Learning Commons: Presentation Media Rooms

[Music plays] The Library’s Learning Commons is a space
for video presentation and group collaboration. Students can reserve one of the three presentation
media rooms at the front desk. Students can reserve a room for one-hour per
day. Students will need a flash drive in order
to record their presentations. A blank flash drive is recommended. After reserving a room, students activate
the camera by touching the control panel mounted on the wall. The flash drive will need to be inserted in
the USB port on the wall. A Learning Commons staff member can assist
students with setting up camera angles and any recording issues. Students can record themselves in front of
the computer screen or in front of the whiteboard. They can view their recorded presentations
by switching the flash drive to the computer and then displaying the recording on the monitor. [Music plays]
