It determines whether I’ll have the knowledge and skills to be successful and give back to the community. You probably already knew that, but do you realize what that means? It means if we want a great future, we need to make sure everyone gets a great education! The good news is we know what to do. Ready? It starts at home. Simply talking to babies helps their brains grow ready to learn. And preschool can do a lot for kids, too—especially those from tough circumstances. We all know that love and encouragement at home really matter, but within these walls ,nothing has a bigger impact on students than great teachers. So let’s give them the support they need. And while we’re at it, let’s do everything we can to make sure students from all backgrounds have the opportunities they need to succeed. Last but not least, everyone should pursue some education after high school. When I grow up. I’ll be your doctor or your legislator. Maybe I’ll be your grandkids teacher or their first boss. Maybe I’ll even be your neighbor. So let’s make sure I get the best education possible. It’s my education and it’s our future.
