  2. I knew Gordon Ramsey just from memes. That’s my first actual cooking video.
And man, this guy knows what he’s talking about. Those were some pretty good tips! 😎

  3. I've only seen a few of his videos and do not like his hyper manner which is stressful to witness BUT there is not doubt that he is a skilled teacher who emphasis technique and doing things right to get the best result. You cannot fault him on his teaching abilities and food preparation and cooking knowledge & skill

  4. I love his energy! I bounce all around when I’m excited or passionate about what I’m doing too! Finally someone who can keep up with me! I’d marry him

  5. It is nice to watch all the video tutorial you have shared. I love cooking but there are things like techniques in chopping Union which I just recently learned here. Thank you Sir these are actually helpful video.

  6. I understand everyone cooks differently but that is not how Puerto Rican’s cook rice “perfectly” that did not look appetizing in the least! I think Gordon is very entertaining and good a lot of things but he seems to think “his way is the right way” while I disagree.🤷🏻‍♀️ “He’s the type that will tell grandma that her rice isn’t cooked perfectly” and he’s not even Puerto Rican 😂 He’s awesome though! 👨🏻‍🍳

  7. Lol at everyone who's criticizing his techniques. I'd like to see you make more money off of your cooking skills

  8. The middle and top cut on the onion are unnecessary, and a pain. Leave them out and the onion cuts more or less just the same.

Rice…. After rinsing, soak it in cold water for 20 -30 mins, then drain. Now use your electric kettle, (it is much faster!). When adding the water, if you are not near some scales, just add almost a finger joint above the rice in the pan regardless of how much rice you use. And give it a decent amount of salt!

Pata…. Again boil the water in your kettle it is much quicker. Read the packaging and it will tell you what al dente and cooked times are. Check it by tasting it a minute or two before you expect it to be al dente. Add enough salt to make it sea water salty. NEVER add oil to the pasta before or after unless it is part of a recipe, and then only after cooking! Oil stops the sauce from entering the pasta! Don't use loads of water, just enough to cover. You need the more starchy water for most sauces. Stir the pasta at the start of the cooking and separate it, it will never stick, simple as that.

Apart from that I think Gordon's restaurants are some of the best in the world, and Royal Hospital Road is my favorite French restaurant anywhere! French laundry comes close, but is that a French resto?

  9. It is Gordon Ramsay who inspired me to join hotel management degree after my 12 th degreewhere my family was opposing me.. thankyou chef ramsay

  10. Thanks a lot Gordon! Could never quite remember or master how to finely chop an onion in cookery class, but thanks a lot!

  11. Bruh, you’re honing your knife, not sharpening it. Also, a dull knife can’t be honed back to sharp. Do English chefs know about whetstones?

  12. Bro Ive never seen rice and or noodles look so amazing. Im literally drooling right now and I hate everything that was shown on this list haha
