  5. I've been on both sides of many job interviews (not for teaching) and your advice is spot-on right. Very insightful. I always knew you were smart. Know I see that you are becoming wise.

  6. I just had my very first interview this morning for a first grade position and I was a nervous wreck. They shot question after question and I feel like I answered to the best of my ability and I made sure to show passion. I left my portfolio, which included pictures from student teaching, a sample first grade lesson and a fast facts page that was all about myself. I feel like the interview panel didn't let on to whether I did an okay job or not, so I'm still a nervous wreck! But I really appreciated this video, and I can't wait to see the rest! Also-if you could do a first year teacher tips for getting started, that would be awesome! (:
