  2. Classic! My dad told me, "If you want to be successful in Show Business, You can't be afraid of making a fool of yourself".

I've posted this before, but it's always worth re-posting it.

It reminds me of what my dad said.

  4. A prime example of why politics and religion (and worse political religion) should be restricted to the over 30's. Let the young have a good time and find themselves before they commit to a lifetime of disappointment.

  7. So without ridicule and embarrassment we could all be our own leader. But yet we wait for a leader to lead the way. Pretty much just live life the way you want, and if others feel the same, accept them without ridiculing them or making them feel embarrassed. Make them feel welcome no matter what. Everyone wants a place to belong, and all it takes is one. "I can stand up and dance, go home and sleep, wake up the next day and remember the fun I've had" or "I think I should just sit down. My dance moves are pretty bad, and I don't want to embarrass myself". Sees other people joining in and being accepted no matter who they are "Fuck it, that just looks way too much fun to turn down".

You end up making a lot of friends when you just accept everyone. They'll remember that too and pass it on. Good stuff, man. Never took a leadership course or anything like that. Just watching and learning.
