Education ministry holds first meeting on reform of college entrance system


South Korea’s Education Ministry is
holding a meeting today on ways to reform the nation’s college admissions
system led by Education Minister Yoon hey it’s the first working-level meeting
on the subject since president Mun Jane called last weekend for a reexamination
of the current college entrance system it’s close to two reporters but it’s
believed that the participants would be discussing how and when to change it any
revision will have a four-year grace period before it takes effect so the
system is likely to continue as it is until at least the year 2022
