At Eatons Hill State School, students are
more engaged and achieving academic success in the Japanese language program than ever before. They are using technology innovatively to
assist learning and expand access to language curriculum from Prep to Year 6. The Japanese program’s success drivers include a clear curriculum, adoption of engaging pedagogy, supportive leadership and professional development opportunities for teachers. The most exciting news is that the overall cohort data is improving. Within a single year, academic outcomes from A to C data increased by 88 per cent for Year 6 and by 58 per cent for Year 5.
