Donegal Education and Training Board (ETB)

– Donegal Education and Training Board, or Donegal ETB, is the largest education and training provider in
County Donegal, Ireland, with around 24,500 students and learners on an annual basis. Our mission is to promote,
provide, and support accessible and inclusive
education and training, which enables young people and
adults to empower themselves to reach their full potential in a safe and caring environment. We do this by providing
education and training services to communities around County
Donegal and its islands on a full-time and part-time
basis from Levels 1 to 6. We deliver many of these
services in partnership with other organisations. We manage 15 out of the
27 post-primary schools in the county, and we’re
the largest provider of Further Education and
Training, or FET, services in County Donegal. We also manage outdoor education
and training at Gartan, music education through the Donegal Music
Education Partnership, and to have legal
responsibilities for youth work. Our vision is excellence in
the delivery of a quality learner-centered education
and training service, achieved by providing a
range of certification, including the Junior and
Leaving Certificates, QQI Awards, and a variety of
industry-recognised awards. For more information, and to keep up-to-date
