Hello Freggle friends! Thanks for tuning
in! There’s some really exciting news to share with you about the Doha Metro so I
thought I’d bring it to you in a short video.
the DoHa metro is now gonna be open on weekends as well and I’ll get right into
the details. You are watching the Ultimate Freggle and my channel is mainly
about paragliding and kitesurfing and travel adventures and as I am based in
Qatar I’ll also bring you some videos from around the country sometimes. If
that sounds interesting subscribe to the channel, drop a like on
the video and you can also connect with me on Facebook and Instagram under the
same name, and I’ll put some links in the video description. So the big news on the
Doha Metro is that it’s now open not only during the week but also on
weekends so the timings are going to be Friday from 2 p.m. until 11 p.m. and
Saturday through to Thursday from 6 a.m. until 11 p.m. So that means if you
haven’t had a chance yet now might be the ideal time to try it out in the
weekend and see what it’s really like for yourself! It’s also pretty exciting to see that
when I went into the Doha Metro it looks like the Hamad International Airport station
could open pretty soon. It looks like the line is completed and the
station looks ready so when that is done it will be super easy to just jump into
the Metro and go on your holiday or just go pick up your friends or family. Another thing I’ve seen is that the
Green Line is nearing completion. I wouldn’t be too surprised if that’s the
next part of the Doha Metro to open after the International Airport station.
Once the Green Line is open you’ll be able to visit places such as the Qatar
National Library, Education City and of course the Mall of Qatar. All right then
before I go I wanted to say some people have asked whether I am in anyway
officially related to the Doha Metro and I can tell you that that is not the case.
I just really enjoy sharing the excitement of my travel and sports
adventures and anything new happening around Qatar. All right so that is it
for the Doha Metro. I hope you enjoyed that video. If it was useful drop me a like on
the video, of course subscribe to the channel and hit the bell for
notifications and then I will see you very soon for another ultimate adventure!
