Bringing together 16 schools from the Burdekin and Dalrymple catchments, this program is driving forward powerful insights for learning to increase data literacy in multi-age settings. The initiative encourages intentional collaboration through an inquiry cycle process, which is increasing principals’ confidence and ability to plan for students’ learning. It’s making it easier to collate and analyse
data for Prep to Year 12 curriculum, assessment and reporting frameworks and track student progression on the Literacy Continuum. New inquiry has prompted two more sessions: one to drive small school improvement agendas and another for individualised student learning plans. The future looks bright for learning, with
an education by design, not by chance.
