One thing particularly important about aesthetic education Is that students grow confident About life, design and beauty Taiwan | Aesthetic Workshop I am Cai Zide I’ve been teaching for 19 years Our aesthetic classes are carried out Around six themes Color, texture, proportion, form, shape, structure With life as the topic We designed a series of 6-hour classes For this course we don’t have textbooks 763 teachers designed various kinds of classes All based on our daily life “At every dusk” “Mom takes us to see sunset” “And we see different colors” Such as color How to make a set of colors you see in life How to match different hues together We would say that bridge is beautifully-shaped But students may not understand what is shape A piece of paper or say a plate You will see if it’s tilted, if it’s not balanced So you can insert a piece of paper somewhere to enhance the structure This is a specific task of force By doing this task students would understand the beauty and function of certain structure Food is a favorable medium Children are exposed to all kinds of food And they seldom think about the beauty of it Picnic is another topic Like how to assemble a meal box The composition of it What shapes fit in there When he goes home he may say to his mom Do you think we need a new plate He starts thinking My own course Is centered around school Magazine is just a channel It’s actually an observation of objects In groups of five Kids observe plants, uniforms Desserts, desks, chairs, staircases How these uniforms look, how are they worn The size of them How are they proportioned And they start to make amendments Some groups are assigned to dessert mission More specifically, rollie What should go into the base How to match colors I am Zeng Chengde The Dean of the College of Humanities and Social Sciences of the National Chiao Tung University Mr. Han Baode talked me into doing this Aesthetic education And it has been 15 years since then Forty years ago, in the middle of 1970s Mr. Han Baode Wished to promote aesthetic education The Argument of Using Aesthetic Education to Save the County A middle school student becomes aware of his connection to the environment To culture Caring about how to make himself more beautiful Meanwhile hoping to make his fellows better Those who care about him Japan has been very successful in its aesthetic education The beauty deeply-rooted in its culture Is realized in actual life Another successful example in Asia is South Korea South Korea has become one of the world’s leaders in the entertainment industry Metro has taught Taiwaners to line up And high-speed rail changes the entire land Aesthetic education is the infrastructure of a society It’s the driving force for everything It’s not anymore an illusion Beauty is a wonderful relation between me and others

  1. 這個正是台灣太欠缺日本人卻普遍擁有的部分!!
    台灣學校教育還是太偏純粹智育,包括道德,人格,與人相處的心態,世俗的價值觀,面對人生的態度(人生觀)乃至這個生活中應該充滿包含的美感教育都沒有課程安排教導沒在重視
    這些其實才是對一個人的成長發展和未來的一生最至關重要的,台灣的學子卻都靠自己摸索,而且從小成長過程大部分心思還要承擔過重的課業,所以一旦運氣不好遇到自己心理上無法解決的問題可能就一直影響下去而左右了原本應該正常美好的人生

    學科學不好可以重來,但人生過程和品味一旦壞了就很難回頭
    希望學校能多重視落實多一些這種精神,形而上的觀念和心理上感覺的教育,美學絕對可以薰陶人格,順便也美化人心
    讓我們的下一代心理與精神上愈來愈豐富,而不是愈活愈物質….

  2. 做工程的想说,不要再鼓励电梯只站在右边(或左边)。看上去很有秩序,但是,首先这对电梯的损害非常大,提高了故障率和紧急事故率;其次电梯本来就不是让人疾走或快跑的设施,空出一半给需要快步通过的行人看似很合理,其实暗含安全隐患。

  3. 先從整理整頓自家環境教起吧! 走出台灣四大都會的蛋黃區後,觸目所及只有四個字,"髒亂醜破"! 該上審美教育的是台灣的主事高官們, 是他們的放任和無能, 讓醜陋無比的市容每天污染我們的視覺, ,.每年大批的官員花公帑出去歐洲日本旅遊考察, 讚嘆別人城市的美好, 然後呢? 台灣需要大破大立的人居環境改造提昇, 沒審美品味的官員閃一邊, 讓專家來,, 台灣不是沒有優秀的設計師, 只是官僚和既得利益者長年寡佔政府資源, 使得好的創意不得其門而入,英雄無用武之地。這些困在井底的審美教育只能關起門來在小房間裡自嗨自爽,,打開門走出去繼續被垃圾市容強暴視神經和心靈。

  4. There is no such a course taught in the west in the schools, but aesthetic is appreciated from books, art, history and built environment. Also there are eclectic tastes in the population which can’t really be “taught” what is beautiful/what is not. A reason such a course run in Asia may be the general desire for beauty out of largely non-descriptive build environment, limited artistic traditions and methods of teaching towards a consensus in taste. Culture is not something can be “taught” in general. There are many superb scientists/engineers are simply not cultured, but they are highly rated in Asia.

  5. 講什麼中華民國美學的人,根本是不懂美學。從來沒發展過的東西,如何談。在過去的台灣窮困,建造就如早期歐洲的貧民社會住宅一樣,鋼筋混凝土骨架,大部份都由民眾自建。常民建築你能期望多好看,加上台灣人東西只要堪用,管他3721,再醜或影響到別人也沒差的個性。我們對於美學發展也就停在那了。再加上什麼都沒保養,維修,更新。到底會有多好?
    日本人常說大阪停留在昭和時代(其實帶有貶意),但是台灣人去看就覺得好美好漂亮。人家怎麼花心力去維護,更新,管理。沒人想知道。
    與其一直批評中華民國美學,何不如先把自家鐵窗拆掉整修,外牆重刷,整修自家管線,屋頂凈空。不然談屁啊,都沒自覺啊。

    美感不只是眼睛上的美
    更是生活上的美
    他拿一張照片舉例 有一堆人在大馬路旁烤肉
    這樣不只不雅觀而已 吃的東西也沾染一堆廢氣
    這樣吃得健康嗎?
    當然也不會很享受

    而且美感 美的生活 美的態度是可以訓練的
    就像排隊
    幾十年前一堆人爭先恐後
    但現在 普遍人都很有秩序的排隊
    這就是訓練的成果

  7. 我认为教小朋友学画画学弹琴学舞蹈不应当以发展才艺为出发点,而是通过绘画音乐和舞蹈这类艺术的学习来培养小朋友发现美和欣赏美的能力,我认为这才是艺术教育的本真与初衷。一味训练小朋友的绘画音乐和舞蹈技巧而不能真正感知和理解艺术的行为恰是舍本逐末。我一直持有这样的观点,即艺术教育的任务和本质都是审美教育,反过来好的审美能力又让小朋友在追求艺术的过程中能够达至更高更远;简言之,艺术教育是审美教育的途径和载体,学习艺术不仅是为了训练技艺,更多地是为了培养审美。

  8. 审美教育是亚洲最大的缺陷,许多理工科背景的学生真是毫无审美趣味。去年去温哥华UBC一位台湾经济学教授的家,家里挂着很多 Picasso的赝品画而且framing是那么的cheap. 这真是典型的附庸风雅的中国知识分子。作为艺术家我太赞成艺术教育要从小孩抓起!

  9. 想想如今中国网络上的社会摇,抖音网红脸,街上大红大绿的招牌是怎么来的,为什么有的人还觉得好看。我看就是从小缺乏审美的教育造成的,审美不仅审的是美,还审的是内心。“革命”尚未成功,同志仍需努力

  10. 可以看出一條的苦心。那個教授說的好,捷運翻轉台北的市民秩序文化,大陸的高鐵也很可能是那個契機。市容的美醜恐怕要一兩代的薰陶才會有改善。

  12. I think aesthetic education should be teachead all over the world. I know that are some countries around the globe that don't give so much attention for it, but in my option aesthetic can teach us a lot more about life itself tha just beauty or balance.

  13. 太棒了, 作为一名工程类从业人员, 在学术和技术岗位工作了十几年后, 我忽然觉得自己也慢慢对设计感, 色彩有了很浓厚的兴趣. 平时的爱好也慢慢变成了看一些设计作品集或者自己设计和制作一些小的日常器物.
    我也不是个例, 事实上身边有很多类似的人, 虽然我并不知道上课会不会是一个很好的提升美感的方式, 不过同好间能够交流提升, 的确很吸引人.

  14. 美 來自 大自然是,形象 , 來自人本是品德教育 , 台灣的大自然 維護得差 , 品德教育是 零 , 難怪要時刻尋求美 , 因為 本身不美 。

  17. 蔡紫德老師是我高一時的老師,她真的為了這些課程付出許多的努力,但是教學內容無法被家長接受,覺得很可惜!

    不然就還只有土豪冒目崇尚名牌子

  19. 一条是喜欢干这种事情的,他们所提倡的审美是明朝开始就被抛弃的文人审美or精英审美,现在不可能将来也不可能大规模铺展开了,自娱自乐~~

  21. 10年前,建築系的第一堂課,台上的謝老師這樣說著 :我並不想要你們人人都成為建築師,這是不切實際的,但我希望你們學了美學,感受美學後投入到這個社會中的不同角落,讓你學習到的美去改變這個社會。感謝有老師的這番話,在幾年後的現在,我依然記得,並實踐著。
